The museum includes a library belonging to José Luciano de Castro and his family. It also features painting, imagery, furniture, ceramics and glass; jewelery, toric, decorations and numismatic objects; it also has costumes (official and civil); books and paper documentation. The Museum's collection includes a set of drawings and watercolors by Queen D Amélia. de Orleans and Bragança, made between 1893 and 1906.
Among many other things, you can, also see, in its own room, an interesting collection of a few hundred shells of marine mollusks, mostly from the African coast of the Indian ocean, offered by Air Force Captain José Ribeiro Relvas. Also of interest are the various types of tiles and mosaics that decorate the interior and exterior walls of the building.
Casa da Alzira is located in Pedralva, São Lourenço do Bairro, right in the heart of Bairrada, land of quality wines and the famous piglet Bairrada was built from scratch and aimed at tourism.
